yo,
i'm into my last week of the "holidays" already.
things that happened:
- back to school for extra lessons
- family went to korea and came back safe and sound
- mugging
- meals with friends
- cousin stayover
- late night home movies :DDDDDD
- gospel rally practices
- dvbs recee
- sentosa
Uh, thats all i can remember. sheesh, its either i have a bad memory or thats really all i did in the past three weeks. Okay lah, its quite alot actually in a short span of three weeks, plus all the revision i'm supposed-to-do-but-not-fully-completed-yet. Extension of the holidays due to H1N1 sounds cool but then again, it may not be good.

My genius sister captured this killer shot of my brother. (:
I miss them, totally.
My family's in korea now, and i'm left alone to an unusually empty and quiet home with my grandma. Why didn't i go? Because firstly, i happen to have two days of school during their vacation period, and i've got tons to study for the exams right after the june hols.
And its going to be one of the most agonizing weeks ever without my brother and my sister.
I feel awfully alone. I just want to sit down and cry.
But take heart, they'll be back soon, on friday(12 june). And as much as people always say that time flies, i don't really care to look on that bright side now because when a person is upset, they usually can't think straight.
Sent them off at the airport last night, and thankfully i had a shoulder to cry on (: (thank you so much)
Lord, please take me through this lonely period. Use me even this one week to touch the life of somebody with Your love.
Helped out at a children's home near Kovan today. Painted the dorms to make the home a more colourful and vibrant place for the kids there to live in, which once again reminded me of how fortunate the bulk of us are. Never ever take things for granted.

I've been playing the song( Jai Ho) from slumdog millionaire almost the entire afternoon today, and it came as quite a shock to me that there's a version by the pussycat dolls. Haha. I like the song. haha. Its nice.
Anyway, its the june holidays! :DDDD or :(((((( (because its mugging time)
I had a great kickstart to my holidays with the yp outing/games on the 30th May in which we played touch rugby, ultimate frisbee and captain's ball the entire afternoon. I had a pretty good workout and was awarded with body aches the next day. signs of ageing again. haha. Oh and thank God for the really good weather!
Then there was Dawn's birthday celebration/SAKAE SUSHI BUFFET on monday after maths lecture with the girls. I miss the food!!!! Haha. The buffet only starts at 3pm and we arrived at cityhall at like one plus so we kinda just wandered around from citylink to suntec and to marina square. Ah hao, py and i shared this really nice ice cream from a shop down the lane. It was quite expensive, but the money was worth it.
Our tummies were rumbling as we walked and we kept checking our watches for the time to show that its nearing 3pm so we could make our way to sakae. We had a great meal, clearing at least 60plus plates between the 8 of us. ( Cherlene, we really wished you'd joined us, but you were stuck at AB camp. :( And yes, the exciting part: we placed Dawn's birthday presents on a sushi plate and requested for the waitress to present it to her. She got quite a shock when she was served the plate of presents, thinking it was some complementary dish from sakae. HAHA but it was a good surprise. Heh. We were so stuffed and i skipped dinner altogether and returned to an empty home because my maid has returned to indonesia for her sister's wedding and my family was out for dinner.
And so, i seized the opportunity and spammed my music CDs on the player and went dancing around the house as a form of exercise and to de-stress. HAHAHA. I hope there were no secret cameras around the house. XD
My schedule says that i've alot to revise and complete ASAP if i want to get reasonable results for the midyears. I need a bottomless stomach so that i can munch on stuff while i study for motivation, but sadly, i think my stomach shrank. It gets bloated easily. :( Nevermind, i'll figure out other innovative ways to keep me going as i mug.
We spend our strength extinguishing fires that if left alone, would burn out on their own.
Come on, strike out in ridiculous faith and show the world how great God is. (:
