Hello! I've got super duper whoo hoo good news to share!
promos are O-V-E-R, OVER!
like at long last, they're over and done with. done with exams for this year. (:
and i must say, God has been good, all the time, throughout the year, through every moment, through every up and down.
i seriously had a hard time the past two weeks mugging for the exams, like there was super alot to study, and time just cruelly flew by. but i must say, God answers prayer. He gave me the determination and drive that i prayed for. haha (: and thanks to all who have been praying!
and yes, they're over! well, it took me quite awhile to register that, cause like yah, hard to believe in a way. XD anyway, died so hard in wait for the last paper to end, and then, headed to plaza sing with cherlene, qiao ma, jo, ah hao, michelle and ruiying to makan!! settled for pastamania after some serious consideration. haha. then we stopped by at made with love, cause jo wanted to buy some stuff. and the stuff there were so so so PRETTY! the shop changed, upgraded its image i would say. haha, and the mickey and disney stuff, they were so cute! oh, if only i had enough money, and no conscience to buy them, unrestrained by practicality. hoho.
okay, then ruiying headed home to spend some moment in solitude with her "lang xin feng bao". HAHA. then the lovely remaining girls accompanied me home, and were treated to an awesomest movie! Facing the giants. Its a christian show i STRONGLY recommend, a must watch, a delight, an inspiration, a joy, a product of the Lord's people, and blessed by God. The plot's good, the music's nice, the acting is good, and with God, nothing is impossible. yes, absolutely nothing. it was my third time watching it, and still moved me to tears. haha. Hope you girls enjoyed it and that it impacted you all some way or another! (:
hmm, actually a little at a lost of what to do, since there's no more studying to be done. ( we'll talk about pw later and enjoy first. haha ) but i'll treasure this carefree moment, and spend some precious time thanking the Lord and diving into His word.
looking quite forward to what's in store for me for the weekend, without having to worry about which subject i should concentrate on next. studying's not all that bad actually, but it can sometimes get on your nerves. haha. Oh, and to all those out there who still have exams, i'll be praying for you! Persevere! The end is in sight!
once there were two farmers who prayed for rain.
But after praying, only one of them went out to prepare his fields to receive it.
Which one do you think trusted that God will send the rain?
loves and misses! ;)

However, time is not of essence anymore. Children are thus taught to read at a more tender age; introduced to the sciences and technical subjects in primary school; made to work at the rate set by teaching machines; and intellectually bombarded at the first sign of intelligence. Such a frenzied approach often confuses capacity with maturity. A child may well be able to read by age two or three, or understand electronics at seven or eight, but does he have the maturity to gain anything from his new knowledge at that age? Advocates of academic acceleration overlook the danger of separating intellectual from emotional and social attributes. Knowledge alone is not enough. One must also have a capacity for warmth and compassion, for creativity, reflecting and communication - attributes without which a man is no more than a talking robot. If, as parents, we want our children to grow up capable of love, sensitivity, tenderness and creativity, they must be permitted sufficient time to let things unfold at their own rate. Allowing children to enjoy childhood experiences to the full is the best preparation for becoming a mature adult.

I so fully agree. Childhood is so important and vital to a child's well-being!
haha sometimes kids just say the darnest things. Take my 5 year old brother for example, the way he says things sometimes just makes you wanna grab him and give him a tight squeeze. haha so cute, so cute.
Samantha: Aiyo, i got so much work to do. How, i think tmrw i cannot finish. How how... Aiya, so much work to do.
Samson: You must complain to the teacher! You must say, " What is your problem ah, why you give me so much work? What is the issue? You are the issue! Why you give me so much work?"
Moment of laughter
Samson: Then you take the paper aeroplane and...
Samantha: Throw it at the teacher?
Samson: Ya ya! Then all the other children will laugh!
Moment of laughter
Samson: Isn't that a good idea? Tell the teacher don't give you so much work!
Well, no offence to anyone, especially teachers.( and that is one of my career options )
Its just the way my brother said it really amused my sister and i. It was so innocently yet wittily said. I wonder where he got it from. Haha.
But Jesus said, " Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. " - Mark 10:14
(:
oh and Happy Birthday Grandma and matt!
