oh yes, exhaustion has taken its toll.
and ahha, the holidays are just a few days away. well, that is if i can call them holidays. but its to be expected. so i shall not say anything about the stuff the sch planned for us. only that i miss staying home. (:
everyday's like a mad rush, but today i realized just how much i enjoy the company of my classmates. EH! our after promos and op camping at east coast is still on okay! :DD
heh that day cherlene and i were talking about movies, ahh and that sure stirred up my i-want-to-watch-movies crave! we were like talking about those action and thrill kind, old ones, new ones... personally, i feel that we can actually learn alot from movies, especially cartoon ones, depending on how you look at them. they represent a world where there's so much action, out of the norm kinda thing, happy endings, a whole lot of thrill, things you can never do in reality. i mean ya most of it is like animated, digitally tampered with, but oh well, its okay to imagine right? haha
oh yay, sunday sch copa is this sunday! really thank God for having carried us through our few rehearsals and all, and most importantly, to let these girls enjoy serving Him and growing closer together as a result of it all. the book by oswald sanders sure came in handy. Lessons can be learnt everyday. (:

yes! today is a holiday, in lieu of national day. Haha :D And Happy birthday to all the people whose birthday falls on the 9 aug, and to chang liling on the 10aug! Haha ((:
well, it was a nice weekend. lets recap;
friday - sch had national day celebration in the morning, and they managed to get this group of guys from harvard university, who are here in singapore for a performance at the esplanade. They sang superly good acapella and dance moves ( really awesome ), and there was this really cute angmoh guy, wanted to snap a pic with him, but heh, paiseh lah. so many people XD haha anyway, after that had this connect singapore thing, that our sch and probably other schs decided to participate in. Well, had a whole lot of fun singing my lungs out with cherlene and ah hao. We were super high! so after the celebration, headed down to city hall for surprise pw interviews. surprises on the professionals. Haha. then, rushed back to sch for some chem lesson which in the end was cancelled ( well nvm -_-''' ) and so decided to go back to cityhall to disturb sam and von who ate at changing appetites while i koped their food. MUDPIES! i gotta learn how to make them :D then sam stayed over at von's while i went home to do work. haha anti-climax.
saturday - brought grandma for the copa elderly lunch gathering and medical checkup. it was nice helping out on a sat morning and chatting with the elderly. could see that grandma had fun, and keep praying that she'll be saved. then headed home to do work and catch up on sleep. our bs minds cafe outing was cancelled. well nvm, another time! after all the crazy exams! haha. then headed down to yvonne's house for national day family celebration in lieu of aunty rose's birthday as well. GOOD AND YUMMY FOOD. i loved the white chocolate cakes and the lemon cake her mum baked. I could have continued eating, if my stomach had no limits. seriously, i'm such a glutton. HAHAHA and i'm glad i am! had samson asking aunty amy really funny questions too and von just cldn't take it. it was too funny. miss the sleepover we had, during june. ((:
sunday - went for worship and sunday school as usual. had surprise for liling after that. hee. then had ss copa practice till about 2 plus and mrt-ed home. continued to try to bring down my pile of hmwk. then watched bee movie with sam and samson. Its such a nice show! love cartoons. they really teach alot, well at least to me. heh ((;
monday (today) - woke up and started revising chem, and ended up going back to sleep till about 11:30am. it was terrible, i just cldn't wake up. unconscious. hahaha. then continued the mugging, went to cut my hair ( argh so expensive and i didn't know my usual shop not there already ) and now, going to continue with pw.
yes, thats about it all for the past 4 days. imagine what my other days are like. they're packed like sardines, and i thank God for all the marvelous strength and motivation that He gives me, and the inbetween little breaks that i have at sch, while walking home, in the toilet and just stoning on my chair. haha those are times when i think about things aside from work, and you just realize there's so much to learn and observe.
